Stepping Out works alongside community workers and support services, complementing the important work already being done by providing specialist, trauma-informed programs for women survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
Specialist Training & Consultation
To arrange specialist training, request a clinical webinar, or build your team’s capability in responding to childhood sexual abuse and complex trauma, please select “Professional Training” in the contact form dropdown.
We work with organisations across the community, health, disability and social services sectors.
Safe & Predictable Communication
We understand that reaching out for support can take immense courage. Our communication approach is designed to prioritise safety, choice and predictability, so survivors can engage with us in a way that feels comfortable, manageable and completely free of judgment.
Confidentiality & Consent
All enquiries and referrals are handled with care, respect and confidentiality by our team. We will communicate using safe contact methods and preferences provided by the survivor, and we will not share information or discuss a survivor’s support with other people or services without their knowledge and consent, except where there are legal obligations to do so or a serious risk of harm to yourself, a child or another person.
Response Times
We review messages during standard business hours and aim to respond to all enquiries within two business days.
